Even though it’s been reported that Markle and Queen Elizabeth II spent “lots of time together”, they haven’t been seen in public since Christmas at Sandringham. Now, all the royals joined in the celebration of Commonwealth Day and looked as gorgeous as usual.
The royal family appeared for a church service and then attended a ‘’special” ceremony on which they were joined by the former One Direction member Liam Payne.
After the ceremony, Meghan and the inseparable royal trio headed to their meeting with school children.
Commonwealth Day, which is formerly called the Empire Day, is the annual celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations held on the second Monday in March. It is celebrated by 53 countries, most of them used to be the territories of the British Empire.
The ceremony included readings from members of the Commonwealth and a musical performance from Liam Payne. The Queen made a speech in which she praised the “Commonwealth connection”.
