Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson enjoyed a really intimate relationship with her pop-icon father, Michael Jackson. He was particularly fond of Paris, even giving her the nickname Tinkerbell (Michael fancied himself a Peter Pan).
Surprisingly, Michael taught Paris how to cook. The Man in the Mirror crooner was also keen on Paris and her siblings getting a good education. “His number-one focus for us, besides loving us, was education.”
The 20-year-old still has fond memories of her father whose name she never knew for the longest time.
I just thought his name was Dad, Daddy. We didn’t really know who he was. But he was our world. And we were his world.
Imagine Michael was still alive
Earlier this week, Paris shared a picture of herself, Michael Jackson, and her mother Debbie Rowe on Twitter. The image showed a smiling Paris sandwiched between her parents.

Instagram user @krafty_mj_stuff created the image and sent it to Paris before she posted it. The creative fan thought it was an awesome way to celebrate the late star.
I think it’s nice to dream about what it would be like to have parents, and to have it put into something i can see, even if it’s a fan made edit. — Paris Jackson
In reality, there never was a family picture like @krafty_mj_stuff imagined. Paris was not in contact with her mother until 2016. She had been living with her grandmother Katherine Jackson since Michael died in 2009.
The King of Pop got divorced from Debbie Rowe in 1999 and cut off communication soon after. Still, the picture does look pretty, and one can’t help but imagine the trio living as a family. Maybe, it will happen in some other life.
Like Paris, fans of the late legend love the picture. It brings back a lot of warm memories of the spectacular persona of one of the world greatest musicians.
Went to your dads concert in ’97 Amsterdam, coolest thing I have experienced, I was 13 years at that time.

Your father is an inspiration to everyone who isn’t afraid to be themselves. Seriously, he was HUGE influence on several generations. My sister is 10 years younger than me and adores MJ’s music. It’s so incredible to see.

Many people still would love to have Michael Jackson alive and making music. It may be a tall order, but thanks to Paris and fans, his spirit lives on.
